TNS gives families a step-by-step recruiting plan, clear communication, and ongoing support so athletes are not left guessing what to do next. From the first recruitment call to coach outreach, follow-ups, interviews, and next-step planning, our team helps athletes stay organized, prepared, and proactive.
We start with a free call to learn more about the athlete, their sport, goals, aspirations, current level, academic background, recruiting timeline, and overall situation. During this call, we also walk families through the best next step — whether that is a three (3), six (6), or twelve (12)-month recruiting package, a highlight video option, or a coach contact list for families who already have a strong grasp of the process.
If a family chooses to move forward with a recruiting package, we schedule a kickoff call with the athlete and, when possible, a parent or family member. This call goes deeper into goals, target schools, preferred locations, academic interests, athletic background, recruiting history, and the type of opportunity the athlete is looking for.
After the kickoff call, we begin building the athlete's recruitment profile. This gives coaches a clear snapshot of the athlete, including athletic information, academic details, video links, contact information, and key background. We work back and forth with the family to make sure the profile is accurate, professional, and ready to send.
We set up a dedicated WhatsApp channel so the athlete, family, and TNS team can stay in constant communication throughout the process. This channel is used for updates, questions, coach responses, screenshots, follow-ups, reminders, and ongoing guidance.
Once the profile and communication channel are set up, we provide outreach tools, including coach email templates, messaging guidance, and a targeted coach contact list. We then schedule a quick outreach call to walk through how to use everything properly, when to send emails, how to follow up, and how to stay organized.
As coach conversations turn into real opportunities, TNS continues helping the athlete and family navigate the next steps. We help families compare options, understand coach communication, prepare for follow-up calls, and think through important factors such as academics, location, roster fit, cost, pathway, and long-term goals.
For international athletes, we can also provide general guidance around the questions families should be asking about visas, admissions, timelines, required documents, and transition planning. While TNS does not provide formal legal or immigration advice, we help families stay organized, understand what to ask, and avoid feeling lost once an opportunity becomes serious.
This final stage is about helping the athlete move forward with confidence, clarity, and the right questions before making a commitment.
